Zachary John Beveridge '08 Scholarship

Description: This scholarship was established by his adoring parents, Candida and Michael McMahon, and augmented by gifts from the family and friends of Zachary John Beveridge. Zachary graduated in 2008 with a bachelor of arts in history and a minor in coaching. One of his greatest passions was his love of football. In his 24 years , Zach touched countless lives with his kind and compassionate ways. His spirituality and fun-loving nature made him the unique person he was. He cared deeply for those whose lives were in need of comfort and healing and made it his mission to reach out to them selflessly and humbly. Zachary was also a founding father of the Buffalo State chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi.
Requirements: Candidates for the Zachary John Beveridge ’08 Scholarship must be registered as full-time undergraduates with a declared major, with special consideration to students in the Philosophy and Humanities Department, the History and Social Studies Education Department, or the Music Department, demonstrate ongoing community-service involvement, and financial need. Preference may be given to students from Long Island, NY.
