Robert E. Horvat Graduate Scholarship in Science Education

Description: The Robert E. Horvat Graduate Scholarship in Science Education provides one scholarship annually to a graduate student enrolled at Buffalo State with a declared major that will prepare them to teach science at the secondary or elementary level.
Requirements: Recipient must be working towards a graduate degree in science education, or a Masters including Initial Teacher Certification in the Childhood Education Initial program with a science background or be working towards a bachelor’s degree in elementary or secondary education with a concentration in science, must be in good academic standing, and have a valid FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid Office

Renewable: Yes, for up to four additional years provided they continue to meet the above criteria
