Eleanor and John May Scholarship

Description: Provides one new scholarship annually to a student enrolled at Buffalo State who graduated from Kenmore West High School, Kenmore East High School, Cardinal O’Hara High School, or Mount St. Mary’s Academy who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in science
Requirements: Recipient must have graduated from Kenmore West High School, Kenmore East High School, Cardinal O’Hara High School, or Mount St. Mary’s Academy, be pursuing a degree in science (degrees offered by the Biology Department, Chemistry Department, Earth Sciences and Science Education Department) or the Mathematics Department, with preference to a student majoring in earth science or geology.
Semester(s) Awarded: Fall and Spring
Renewable: Renewable for up to 3 additional years provided recipient maintains a 2.5 GPA. New recipients may be selected while renewals are still eligible
