Tri Sigma-Daniel Upton Memorial Scholarship

Description: Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority Alumna Chapter set aside a sum of money in 1926 to honor the memory of Daniel Upton, principal of the Buffalo State Normal School from 1909-1918.
Requirements: The Tri Sigma-Daniel Upton Memorial Scholarship is awarded to one or more candidates who is a continuing or transfer students. Candidates must be first-semester seniors, must demonstrate scholastic ability, and must distinguish themselves in school activities. Preference is given to women.
