Dewayne A. Beery and Cynthia Steiger Beery Scholarship for Hearing Impaired Students

About Provides one scholarship annually to an incoming first-year student enrolled at Buffalo State who is registered with the Student Accessibility Services Office; has a hearing impairment; and has financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. When fully implemented there will be four Beery scholars in an academic year. Each recipient will receive one-fourth of the available spendable.

Renewable Yes, the recipient is eligible to receive the scholarship for up to three additional years as long as the recipient is registered with the Student Accessibility Services Office, has a hearing impairment, has financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office, and maintains an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
