Military Service Scholarship Fund

Description: The Military Service Scholarship is available to provide scholarship funding to a student who serving or who has been honorably discharged from the United States military
Requirements: Recipient must either be serving in a branch of the United States Armed Forces or have been honorably discharged from the United States Armed Forces (verified by DD214) and be either an undergraduate enrolled full time (12+ credit hours) or a graduate student enrolled in at least 1 credit hour. Preference will be given to those with 2 or more years of active service
Semester(s) Awarded: Fall
Renewable: Not automatically, however recipient may receive more than once, but must reapply annually and be found to be the best candidate for the scholarship.

Suggested areas to discuss, in no particular order: community service, campus activities, financial need, military service, demonstrated leadership ability, employment experience, academic achievements, future goals and how you plan to achieve them, overcoming personal obstacles.
