Leslie K. Day PDS Consortium Scholarship Fund

The Fund will provide one scholarship annually of $1,000. Candidates for the scholarship must have a class rank of junior or senior and be active in the Professional Development Schools (PDS) Consortium in a leadership position, have a declared major in either the Elementary Education and Reading Department or the Exceptional Education Department, and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher both overall and within the major. Candidates must apply for the scholarship following the process established by the School of Education Dean’s Office; the application must include an essay detailing the candidate’s involvement in the PDS and the PDS Consortium. If the recipient is a graduating senior who intends to enroll at Buffalo State the following academic year, the scholarship can be applied to their cost of attendance for that year. If the recipient does not return to Buffalo State, she/he will forfeit the scholarship.
