Burrell Diversity Scholarship

Description: The Dr. Anna P. Burrell Diversity Scholars Program is designed to enhance student diversity at Buffalo State College.
Requirements: Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen, New York State resident, have achieved a minimum of 85 percent high school average, completed the current year FAFSA form, submit an essay addressing how they will contribute to the diversity of their program or the college.
Semester(s) Awarded: Fall and Spring
Renewable: Yes, for up to 5 years total (10 semesters) if the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA. Students are encouraged to complete one community service activity per semester.
