Helen Brophy Scholarship

Description: The Helen Brophy Scholarship is available to first-generation (neither parent completed college) candidates who have been accepted at Buffalo State, be a first-generation student (neither parent completed college with a degree), and demonstrate financial need.
Requirements: Recipient must be first generation, be enrolled full time, and have valid FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid Office.
Semester(s) Awarded: Fall and spring
Renewable: Yes, for up to 3 additional years, as long as student enrolls full time, and maintains a GPA of at least 2.0. The amount at which the scholarship renews may vary year to year based on funding available.
