Glenn O. Sallack Scholarship

This scholarship is available to undergraduate students in the Engineering Technology or Music Departments. Minimum GPA 3.0 or higher. Applicants must be currently a freshman, sophomore, or junior and registered as full-time in the fall semester. Preference is given to students with financial need and participation in extra-curricular activities such as student government, student clubs, community service organizations. Two recipients selected annually. Fall disbursement.

This endowed scholarship was established by Dr. Charles Beasley and several other Buffalo State College faculty to honor the memory of Mr. Glenn O. Sallack, Electrical Engineer and Band Director for Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley, West Virginia. Mr. Sallack received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University and continued to practice his profession while directing the music program at Woodrow Wilson High School for 42 years.
