Dr. Deborah A. Silverman Endowed Scholarship

Description: Dr. Deborah A. Silverman Endowed Scholarship is available to students enrolled in the M.S. in Public Relations program at Buffalo State.

Requirements: Candidates for the scholarship must meet the following criteria:
1. A first- or second-year student enrolled in the M.S. in Public Relations program; and
2. carrying a GPA of 2.75 or greater; and
3. be in good standing; and
4. be planning a career in public relations; and
5. have a current FAFSA application on file and
6. submit a 500-word essay on the importance of ethics for public relations professionals

Preference will be given to applicants who are members of either the Public Relations Society of America or the Public Relations Student Society of America.

Semester(s) Awarded: Fall and Spring

Renewable: The scholarship is renewable to a recipient for up to one (1) additional year as long as he/she continue to meet the criteria stated above.
