Pano Georgiadis

Panagioti Georgiadis, known as Pano, immigrated to the United States from Greece in 1969. He opened a fourteen seat hot dog stand on the day of the blizzard in 1977. Over 30 years later, through perseverance and hard work, he built Pano’s Restaurant on Elmwood Avenue into a popular and versatile dining establishment.

Pano is committed to giving back to the community and since 1997 has provided nearly 70 scholarships to students at Buffalo State through the Pano’s Restaurant Scholarship Fund.
