Family and Friends of Troy Lash

Troy Lash, the beloved son of Karen and Timmothy Lash, had a great zest for life, an inquisitive nature, and love for those around him. During his brief life, he befriended everyone he met and encouraged them to be the best person possible.

Mrs. Zieziula first met the Lash family when Karen Lash
volunteered to portray a mother needing parenting guidance with her toddler son in a training video which would help train social workers how to promote good parent/child interactions. Karen Lash and her husband opened their home to the crew of five, allowed young Troy to be filmed, even made the crew a delicious hot chicken lunch, and prayed a blessing on our work and lunch. Karen and her husband, Timmothy modeled what every child needs in their selfless generosity and commitment to good parenting, and sharing hearts.

Devastated for them in their loss of their precious son, Mrs. Zieziula established the Fund to honor the work and contribution that Karen Lash and young Troy made to a CDHS project and help Buffalo State students who demonstrate a desire to reach out and help others to complete their education.
