Elizabeth J. Hansen, ‘59 and F. Dean Hansen, ‘59

Betty and Dean met when they were students at Batavia High School. Dean was unsure of the possibilities of getting a college degree, but with Betty’s encouragement and the fact that she would join him as a Buffalo State student, they both attended and thrived. They each devoted years to teaching and feel their lives were changed for the better because of their attendance at Buffalo State. They are providing a bequest to support students and educational opportunities for future generations of Batavia High School students who have financial need here, at their beloved alma mater.
