Dr. William L. Vantine and Mrs. Jill Vantine

Dr. A. William Vantine graduated from Buffalo State in 1958 with a BSE in elementary education and a MS in 1962 in secondary education: social studies. While at Buffalo State he was a member of the Men’s Track and Field Team. He subsequently received a Doctor of Education in 1970. Dr. Vantine retired as executive director of the Bucks County (PA) Intermediate Unit 22. The A. William Vantine Leadership Award was established by the Bucks County Intermediate Unit 22 in his honor.

Kathleen A. (Ryan) Vantine graduated from Buffalo State in 1958 with a BS in home economics and completed a MS in home economics in 1962. She retired from the Council Rock School District.

This scholarship was established by their son, Dr. William (Bill) L. Vantine and his wife Mrs. Jill Vantine, in honor of their dedication to teaching and to public education.
